The GPT Development Program, Global Product & Technology, helps newer graduates, from both bachelor's and master's education of different backgrounds, come together and learn about the ADP culture, learn about the different global products they have.

We're trained in various skill sets, ranging from agile methodologies to front end technologies and back end technologies, with a mix of security and database concepts.

Also gives a chance to familiarize everybody who's coming in and help them understand what ADP culture is like, what the people are like, and what it is we actually do when we're here.

They get you to do all the different kinds of jobs or roles that you can execute within ADP. And then, they help you by connecting you with different managers who are hiring for their teams. And they give you a chance, essentially to understand what's ADP doing, what are the teams that are hiring, what are the jobs that you could potentially do. And then, they give you a chance.

Text: What has been your biggest takeaway from the Global Product & Technology (GPT) Development Program?
[MUSIC PLAYING]
[SPEECH: KRUPALI]
My biggest takeaway would be not to be scared of doing something new and also to ask questions.
[SPEECH: SANJAY]
ADP gave me a chance to go take a glimpse over all the roles that I could do, and they're like what do you want to do? Because the moment I get the chance to select what I want to do, I'm going to put 101% into it.
[SPEECH: ARCHIT]
The biggest takeaway was the steep learning curve. So when I joined ADP as an intern, I was made to learn particular technologies which I had no idea about. So in a span of two weeks, I picked up on a language that I was completely unfamiliar with.
[SPEECH: MAHRUZA]
I understood how a corporate environment operates. There's a lot of people involved in building a product. There's a lot of things and tasks that needs to be completed in order to build something that's useful. And that process in and of itself is something that I definitely took away from the program.

ADP Innovation Center Pasadena: Nacho

[TEXT]
What attracted you to the ADP Pasadena Innovation Center? Nacho, Principal Product Manager, speaks.
[SPEECH]
What ADP was doing was actually really interesting. ADP was doing a startup inside of a large organization. And honestly, in the startup space, I had already started to get to the edge of my skill. I had gotten to the point where I was building products, shipping out to clients, and getting success. But we had never done organizational change, nor have I ever worked for an organization that has a reputation, the people, and the resources that ADP has.
[TEXT]
How does ADP support the innovation process?
[SPEECH]
The idea of coming to a place that had that backing, that wasn't going to run out of runway, which is a term you hear a lot in the startup world, that would provide health insurance and stability, but in a way, that would also allow me to do innovative work and to leverage the experience in data that ADP has to do something amazing.
So the work we're doing here is only the tip of the spear. And the workers that we have here will set the tone and set the vision for what ADP will be in the next 10 to 20 years.

Here’s what our people are saying…

Sharine, Portfolio Director of Products Management

“We are working in some pretty cutting edge areas like big data, analytics, and we are exploring things that no one has ever done before. That is very exciting to me. It’s innovative. It’s new. And I’m learning. That, to me, is fun.”

Sharine
Portfolio Director of Products Management

Nick, UX Design, Lifion by ADP

“You’re not pigeonholed into the role or responsibilities that you might find in more traditional places. So that means there is tons of opportunity to work on cool things. If you have a great idea, you speak up, you get to do it, and suddenly you own it. And that’s really cool.”
